About This Spot

Stepping into Nick’s Tomato Pie at Palm Beach International Airport feels like a small yet warm pause amid the usual rush of travel. The space hums with a relaxed energy, where the pace is steady but never hurried, offering a comforting moment of normalcy before takeoff or right after landing. Despite being nestled inside an airport, the vibe here avoids the impersonal or sterile — instead, it’s a spot where familiar flavors and genuine hospitality intersect softly with the transient hum of travelers.

The atmosphere is casual and approachable, with the comforting scent of fresh-baked pizza dough mingling with the subtle clink of glasses from the bar. Whether you’re easing into the morning with a thoughtfully crafted breakfast pizza or grabbing a slice before your next gate call, the kitchen offers a sense of grounded simplicity. The menu lives comfortably between classic and approachable, where a well-made mushroom or pepperoni pie feels like a quiet nod to authentic comfort food. Paired with a cold draft beer or a crisp sparkling wine, each bite encourages that small, satisfying moment — a break from the airport pace.

What makes Nick’s Tomato Pie linger a little longer in memory is its approachable spirit. Service moves with kind familiarity, aiming to put travelers at ease instead of adding to travel stress. Even in a space where time often feels rushed, the staff’s steady presence lends a feeling of calm and welcome, weaving a thread of human connection through the day’s hustle.

For locals and visitors alike, Nick’s Tomato Pie offers a slice of pause — a genuine little corner to reconnect with simple pleasures: the warmth of well-made food, the comfort of friendly faces, and the quiet joy of good company, even if it’s just yourself between flights.

Some of the best airport food I’ve had! Excellent gluten free pizza, better than any I’ve had at restaurants!! Super clean and quick service! Will definitely be back!

The pizza at Nick’s Tomato Pie isn’t bad considering it’s airport food. I ordered the mushroom pizza and it was actually fairly good. I was also surprised how quick the pizza was ready. The lady taking the orders, though, was quite obnoxious and seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. However, in the end I got a quick, fairly good pizza in an airport, and that’s why I’d recommend this place.

$16 for a delicious pepperoni pie at the airport? Absolutely. The service was incredible. I didn’t catch the bartender’s name but he was phenomenal.

Good friendly service. Awesome bloody Mary extra spicy. Pizza could’ve been slightly more well done but very good. Recommend!

Pizza and drinks inside Palm Beach International airport. Blue Moon, Sam Adams Seasonal, Modelo, Bud Light, and Stella Artois on draft plus a full liquor bar. A variety of pizzas and salads. Breakfast is offered from 7:00am to 9:30am daily.

4 Stars – Great Pizza and Friendly Service! I stopped by Nick’s Tomato Pie at the West Palm Beach Airport and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was great — fresh, quick, and just what I needed before my flight. The staff was welcoming and easy to work with, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I’ll definitely eat here again next time I’m passing through!

Gotta admit, for an airport pizza joint, was pleasantly surprised! Not sure about all the other negative reviews (but some photos suggest this place has been completely remodeled recently - and maybe new management as well). We ordered 3 pies and they were very good! Our waitress was super attentive. Drinks were good too! If you're stuck at the airport (or delayed 5 hours like we were), this is a great place to grab some food and kill some time.
